The charming hotel, under new ownership, exuded promises of its glorious past, evident in the beautifully furnished public spaces and delightful courtyard. The room, though spacious and elegantly designed, could benefit from a modern shower. The welcoming staff and tasty restaurant offerings added to the overall pleasant experience. However, considering the hotel's location a bit away from the town center, services like a shuttle or car hire could enhance accessibility for guests without transportation. The value proposition lies in the inviting ambiance and historical charm, appealing to those seeking a peaceful retreat in Lisbon without breaking the bank. Ultimately, for a laid-back traveler like me, York House Lisboa strikes a balance between affordability and sophistication.
